Derek Keaus, driver of the no. 19 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota tundra, for McAnally-Hillghman Racing, will be fighting an uphill battle tonight in the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Race, to make the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series Playoff field of 10 drivers. He starts in 6th spot, only two spots ahead of Todd Gilliland. Killian is 14 points ahead of Cross leading into the race. Drivers who finish in side the top 10 after every Sunday lap segment (70 and 140) receive one point for finishing 10th and 10 points for finishing first,And one playoff point for winning the stage. These points to be ever viable for either driver. The race coverage starts at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST live on Fox sports 1 and Motor Racing Network. Expect the green flag to fly at approximately 8:15 PM EST/5 PM PST
Today’s race Walmart the first time since 2005 that the truck series race at Richmond. Richmond doesn’t always provide excellent racing but the trucks he races are always entertaining. Unfortunately, tonight’s race directly conflicts with the first Thursday night football game for the national football league (8 PM ET/5 PM PT one Fox) That features the Houston Texans darling what’s the defending Super Bowl champs Kansas City Chiefs and the reigning NFL MVP in Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. I will most definitely be flipping back-and-forth to catch both events as much as I can. Look for periodic updates; hopefully stage by stage for the NASCAR race and quarter by quarter for the football game; throughout.
