Harrison Burton is the real deal

Five races in, the drivers in the NASCAR Xfinity Series have races at almost all of the tracks. There is only one driver with a Top-5 finish in every race, Rookie Harrison Burton, driver of the #20 Toyota Supra, for powerhouse Joe Gibbs Racing.

He might have extremely high expectations coming of a dismal Rookie year in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, driver for Cup Champion Kyle Buscj and inherited the #20 team from Christopher Bell’s stellar two-year stint in it. Leading into today’s race, he was the points leader, after winning at Auto Club Speedway on February 29.

Today, he checked off another milestone, beating Kyle Busch, in addition to collecting his fourth consecutive Top-5. He is the odds-on favorite to win the Championship, and the races in the month ahead yielded positive results for him last season in Trucks and he was competitive in the #18 at those tracks.
