Morris signed on for one year with MBM Motorsports, helping the team expand to another team. He was in the #87 Credit One Bank Toyota Camry at Daytona International Speedway, for the season-opening NASCAR Racing Experience 300.
So much hype was given to his debut. He raced ultra clean, but his overall car performance was absolutely abysmal, finishing in 37th-place.
“I’m so blessed to be in the Xfinity Series,” said Morris, “I understand what my car is capable of now and will take this year to gain experience, forge good-standing with my fellow competitors and position myself for additional opportunities for Season 6.”
Stay tuned for Morris’s remarks from the Rinnai 250, from Atlanta Motor Speedway.
